Matt Bell

Mr. Bell is the CEO of the Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana, which was created in 2010 to advocate for the creation of a climate inviting to business investment and economic development across a 10-county region of northeast Indiana. Prior to his employment with the Regional Chamber, Mr. Bell was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives, serving House District 83 from 2005 to 2010 where he served as the Ranking Minority Member of the Public Policy Committee, as a member of the Labor and Employment Committee, the Family, Children, and Human Affairs Committee, the Insurance Committee, and the Natural Resources Committee. Mr. Bell also spent eight years as the executive director of the Literacy Empowering and Advocating Project (LEAP), which used local support from business, industry, and individuals to leverage more than $4.5 million to support literacy programming in Noble County. He has served on the boards of Early Childhood Alliance, Community Harvest Food Bank, and Junior Achievement. Mr. Bell is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
