Olin B. And Desta Schwab Foundation Announces Launching of Website
The Foundation announced that it has launched its new website at www.SchwabFoundation.com. “We are very excited about the capability of our new website which offers us the opportunity to tell our purpose of identifying and supporting programs that help middle and high school students connect their education to their future career choices by providing the resources and opportunities they need to investigate, explore, and experience the array of career options available to them in a 21st century global economy,” said Jim Johnston, Olin B. and Desta Schwab Foundation Board President. “We are also very pleased that we found two very capable partners to make the website a reality – Boyden & Youngblutt and King+Knight.”
Jerry Young, V.P. Boyden & Youngblutt states, "When it comes to marketing, few things make me happier than to see that the newly created communication vehicle matches up well with the heart and soul of the entity. This website has managed to convey the passion, modern approach and flexibility that is central to the people and mission of the Schwab Foundation. It's always nice to work on a project where the client is engaged every step of the way. Fortunately for us, the Schwab Foundation brought on Janet Chrzan of Vision Management Consulting, to lead and drive the effort. Her passion, vision and management style made this a rewarding endeavor for all involved." Mike King, President & CEO – King+Knight adds, “"King + Knight was proud to work with such an amazing Foundation and the incredible board members behind it. We were able to use our experience and knowledge of nonprofit organizations to ensure that the Schwab Foundation received a topnotch website that reflects the wonderful work they do for students.”
The website will include information on the Foundation’s history, financial and governance activity. “But most of all,” stated Jim Johnston, “is that it will highlight the success stories of our grant recipients.” The website will also be the main source for grant proposal information. Applicants will now have an electronic means to understand what we fund, deadlines and to download the required grant application.
Now, more people will learn about Olin B. Schwab’s dream which is to help young people make career choices that give them the opportunity to fully recognize and realize their talents and potential.
